2009

The First Flame

Marco Rivera opens a small 12-seat cafe on Maryland Pkwy in Las Vegas, serving handmade burritos and fresh-squeezed juices. The line out the door begins on day one.

2012

Cafe Rio Expands

Demand drives a full renovation and expansion — the cafe doubles in size, adding a proper kitchen and a full dinner service. The caferio brand starts to take shape.

2015

Catering & Community

Cafe Rio launches its catering arm, bringing fresh food to corporate events, weddings, and local festivals across Las Vegas and the surrounding region.

2018

Digital Ordering Launches

Cafe Rio introduces online ordering and delivery, making fresh cafe rio meals accessible to more people across the city with just a few clicks.
